Introduction
This 70-minute class focuses on variations using full undulations, sometimes referred to as Arabics, which use the whole spine. We start with warm-up drills and end with cool-down stretches.
Topics we will cover include:
- Full undulations over 2-count footwork (flat, ball)
- in place, traveling forward, traveling backward, turning
- Full undulations over 3-count footwork (flat, ball, flat)
- in place, traveling forward, traveling backward, turning
- Traveling to the side
- Additional variations in foot work
- Variations in in floor patterns
- Layering shimmies over full undulations
